Dec 1    Azure DevTest Labs: Enable custom images with licensing terms

לאחרונה התווסף feature  המאפשר למשתמש מעבדה (lab user) ליצור VM מתוך licensed image. עם זאת, עד עכשיו זה לא היה אפשרי ליצור Image מותאם.

היום משתמשי מעבדה (lab user) כן יכולים ליצור Image מותאם באמצעות licensed image אנחנו יכולים ליצור VMs עם כל software שאנחנו צריכים. בנוסף, אפשר ליצור image מותאם מ VM או מ image מוכן שנמצא אצלנו במחשב \ שרת לצורך זה נעלה את ה (image (VHD.

Dec 7    Automation runbooks available in action groups to take actions from alerts

Azure Automation runbook, זמין עכשיו Azure action groups.

מיקרוסופט מבצעת action group, נוכל לבחור כדי להריץ  Automation runbook בנוסף, כל פעולה אחרת נוכל להגדיר. נוכל לבחור גם built-in runbook מסופק לנו ע"י Azure לצורך משימות (Task), או שאפשר פשוט לבחור runbook  מותאם שאנחנו יצרנו ב  Automation account.

יכולת זו מרחיבה את הפעולות כאשר מתקבלת התרעה, לדוגמא, נוכל להשתמש runbook כדי שיאסוף לנו מידע נוסף לפתרון הבעיה מהמשאב המושפע,  runbook ישלח לנו את המידע הדרוש כדי שנוכל לקבל סקירה יותר מקיפה על הבעיה. או אותו runbook יכול לנקוט פעולות תיקון מיידיות כדי לתקן את הבעיה.

Dec 22    December update for Azure IoT Edge

עדכונים החשובים של דצמבר -  Azure
IoT Edge הכוללים

• You can now write modules in C by using the C client SDK.
• Azure IoT Edge features are now available in national clouds.

IoT Edge runtime improvements:

• We fixed a bug that prevented the edge hub from multiplexing connections between an edge device and Azure IoT Hub.
• Communication with IoT Hub falls back to AMQP over WebSockets if AMQP port 5671 is  blocked.
• Messages that have not been delivered to the cloud due to a temporary internet connection are now persisted to storage Azure Resource
      Manager devices.
  
• Deployments with critical errors can fail instead of retrying forever.
• We added support for WSL.

Azure portal fixes specific to IoT Edge:

• We added advanced settings to allow customers to override the edge agent image, edge hub image, and storeAndForwardConfiguration timeToLiveSecs value.
• We fixed a  bug that prevented many special characters from being used in the target condition of a deployment.
• We added the deployment status for the modules: pending deployment, pending  modification, pending removal, and deployed.

• We updated target condition syntax.
• We updated the Deploy Azure Machine Learning tutorial to show how to build a machine learning model.
